Overwatch has taken the gaming world by storm and still has a phenomenal running in the 3 weeks it’s been out with Overwatch redeem code being bought left and right. At about 7 million players, this FPS MOBA is doing phenomenally well. With no sign of decline, Blizzard is taking good care of its IP by already informing the public of incoming balancing in the future.

For starters, it’s already been stated by Blizzard that McCree is going to take a hit on the nerfing list due to his Fan the Hammer just being too strong. It’s strong enough to kill basically any tank with the flash bang combo, making him a must in team comps. With a combo that is sure to kill one opponent, he’s being touted as too strong all entirely. In my opinion, I fully agree with how powerful he can be. Pretty much every character is afraid to get close to a McCree due to his capabilities of bursting anyone down. True, he’s counterable and takes quite some practice to get good with, but if we assume equal skill between players and proper team comps, he just has too much of an advantage, making him an absolute necessity. McCree being a permanent hero in a lineup isn’t something Blizzard would want if they want true competitive diversity in Overwatch.

Redeem Code: Something About D.Va

D.Va’s also said to be in line for buffing due to how unsatisfied Blizzard is on how she plays. Right now, she plays like a “beefy flying assassin” rather than a “viable aggressive initiation tank” like Winston. Unlike McCree, it’s harder to pin down on what to fix with D.Va due to her playstyle not necessarily being straightforward. The Overwatch team is still trying to analyze the better avenue on what to balance with her; damage, mobility, tankiness, or a combination of all. D.Va, during the betas, was too strong with her high damage output and defense, shredding every kind of hero like nobody’s business, so it is doubtful that Blizzard’s going to increase her damage. Besides, even without a damage buff, she does fine right now. The only problem I can personally see is that, for a tank, she gets shredded too quickly in certain situations unlike Roadhog or Reinhardt.

There are still a couple of heroes that Blizzard wants to balance, but McCree and D.Va are the main targets of the nerfhammer as of now. With the competitive mode slated to be released at the end of June, let’s hope they get to implement these balance changes soon.
